HBCU STEAM-Ready Scholarship
Established in 2020 and now in its fifth year, our scholarship program empowers black girls from DC's public and charter schools to pursue STEAM majors at Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs). With a focus on fostering future leaders, we've awarded over $15,500 to deserving recipients attending institutions like Howard University, Spelman College, and Hampton University. Our commitment to bridging the education gap and supporting black girls in STEAM disciplines remains unwavering.
Our HBCU STEAM-Ready Scholarship aims to improve the lives of young Black women in Washington, DC through the promotion of science, technology, engineering, mathematics, and the arts. Recipients majoring in the STEAM field will be awarded scholarship funds to support their education at an HBCU institution.
